24 Hour Update

Amazing. Cait and I are amazed by the amount of support we received in just 24 hours. The fundraising advice we have instructs us to give frequent updates on the amount of financial support received. We realize that updates are important, but for us, the finances are not the most meaningful part.

What struck us the most is the amount of positive feedback, messages, phone calls and comments we received. All of them were so encouraging and hopeful!

A few shared their own struggles with growing their own families. While these stories are tough to hear, it's great to know we are not alone.

Tomorrow for Thanksgiving, we will indeed have lots to be thankful for. We don't want this to sound cheesy or cliché, but we really are thankful for the people who have supported us: in the last 24 hours, over the last several years, for our whole lives. We are thankful for our family, friends, current coworkers, past coworkers, and photography clients who have joined us on this journey. For those we are "just not willing to miss an opportunity to be a part of something special God is doing in our lives."

Tomorrow is a Thanksgiving that we will remember for sure.

With all that said, here's an update! In just about 24 hours, we had 19 shirts ordered,  302 likes on our Facebook photo (probably the most we'll ever get on any one photo), 701 visitors to our blog, and a total of $1,342.48 donated. Just about 25% there! We are amazed and thankful.
