Continuing from the previous post about Bible translations, I felt it necessary to post about why Cait and I chose the New International Version (NIV11).
For this quick post, I will focus on why we read and study the Bible and how God uses it.
Just for fun, this is an example of why good translation is needed. Can you guess what passage this is?
Below are some thoughts about Bible translations. I have so many thoughts, this will be the first of several blog posts.
What makes a great gift? A great gift is three things: it is a surprise, it is valuable and it represents the relationship.
As seasons in our life change, this quote from the Bible came to mind: “Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Jesus.”
Encouraged. Hopeful. Thankful. Words can scarcely explain how the last week has made us feel.
